Tráiler "Six Bullets"

Después de bastante tiempo esperando alguna nueva noticia acerca de Six Bullets, también llamada anteriormente The Butcher, por fin nos llega el tráiler donde podemos realizar nuestras primeras observaciones del film. Recuerda en gran medida a la gran película interpretada por Liam Neeson, Venganza (Taken, 2008) y esperemos que se asemeje a ésta. Lo que es indudable es el gran estado físico de Van Damme y como novedad, la aplicación de un sistema de lucha llamado Silat, que recuerda bastante al Krav Maga.

Póster Provisional "Six Bullets"

Tras un supuesto póster oficial publicado por una página web poco fiable, parece que este sí es el póster que posiblemente salga en el próximo thriller de acción de nuestro héroe Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Protagonizada junto a Joe Flanigan (Stargate) y confirmada que la particiapción de ambos será del 50% para cada uno, se verán envueltos en un secuestro del que seguro no nos vamos a despistar ni un segundo.

Podemos observar a un Jean-Claude bastante fuerte, y sin duda con un gran aspecto.

"Six Bullets" - Nuevo proyecto de JCVD

Según un artículo de variety.com, este sería el proyecto en el que se embarcaría Van Damme después de Weapon, Dragon Eyes, y Expendables 2.

After rebooting his image in 2008 action parody "JCVD," Jean Claude Van Damme will turn to more familiar stomping ground in Ernie Barbarash-helmed actioner "Six

Bullets," for which the action star has been tapped for the lead role.

Pic, from scribes Chad and Evan Law ("The Hit List"), reunites Van Damme, Barbarash and producer Brad Krevoy after the trio most recently collaborated on the upcoming "Assassination Games," which Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has nabbed worldwide distribution rights.

Distrib rights for "Six Bullets" are still up for grabs.

In the film, Van Damme will play an ex-mercenary kidnapping expert hired by a martial arts fighter who's daughter has gone missing.

"Six Bullets" is produced by the Motion Picture Corporation of America, which Krevoy co-founded in 1986 and currently serves as prexy. MPCA's Reuben Liber and Mike Callaghan will exec produce, with MPCA sales group head, Francisco Gonzalez, handling international sales.

Pic, which is budgeted for $10 million, marks MPCA's first foray into international dealmaking.

"For us, this is a changing of our business model that opens us up to the international market," Krevoy said. "Right now, there's an opportunity in the marketplace to produce a series of high-quality action films."

Pic starts shooting in western Europe and North America in August.
